This special anniversary edition of our Sculte Twentse Whisky was bottled to celebrate the 20th anniversary of our distillery and the 10th anniversary of our beloved whisky. This dual anniversary calls for a whisky as special as the occasion itself.
The whisky is presented in a beautiful tube, within which the bottle is carefully stored. The bottle bears a seal of wafer-thin Twente oak, the same wood used to mature our whisky and develop its characteristic flavor. This oak, sourced from the region where our distillery is located, gives the whisky its unique, robust, and refined aromas. The aroma reveals a fusion of sweet notes, patchouli, and new leather, interwoven with a hint of smoke. This is autumn in a glass.
The taste continues this feeling with notes of roasted coffee beans and dark chocolate, while the finish begins with sweet black tea and bergamot, and ends with a subtle hint of sweet raisin.
