This whisky is matured in rare Twente oak , sourced from the ancient forests of the Twickel estate . Sculte Twente Whisky is therefore characterized by its unmistakably authentic, distinctive flavor with hints of Twente oak. The fourth bottling presents itself with notes of vanilla, nutmeg, and leather, and the long finish reveals raisins, creating a sherry-like experience. The fifth bottling offers notes of vanilla, tropical fruit, citrus, and pineapple. The long finish reveals flavors of dried raisins and ginger. The sixth bottling features vanilla, floral sweetness, and toffee. The long finish reveals flavors of dried raisins, sweet ginger, and a tangy gingerbread.
