The unique characteristic of this whisky is its maturation in Twente oak casks. This local, centuries-old wood gives the whisky unparalleled depth and complexity. On the nose, a sweet aroma of quince unfolds, interwoven with the fresh swirl of freshly sawn oak. At first sip, you'll taste a light hint of licorice, subtly giving way to a touch of vanilla and sandalwood. The finish is warm and full, concluding elegantly with a soft hint of raisin.
