These eight young men uphold a centuries-old, annual and somewhat mysterious tradition: the Easter customs in Ootmarsum. This encompasses fetching wood in the traditional way with horse and cart, the procession and the Vlöggeln through the historic city center of Ootmarsum. In doing so, they form a monument in local history. It is therefore a great honor for us as Stokerij Sculte to commit ourselves to this wonderful tradition. We do this by releasing a special Twentse Whisky Easter Ember exclusively at Easter, and in a limited edition at that. This whisky is distilled using a one-time recipe and matured in Twents oak. Characteristic In the nose comes the aroma of fresh earl grey, followed by a light smokiness. On the palate vanilla mingles with sandalwood and earl grey. The finish is a hint of honey drop ending with a Sultana raisin and a touch of smokiness.
